So this tutorial shows you where to download the iTunes old version for Mac & Windows and also the solution to completely uninstall iTunes on Windows 10/8/7 correctly. (Note: There is no iTunes desktop app for macOS 10.15 Catalina and later).

I showed you how to download the macOS installer through the Mojave Mac App store. The thing is, a better way to download the full installer exists and is called installinstallmacos.py. I was going to explain how to use installinstallmacos.py here but now realize the topic deserves a full article. I did not even get into hardware specific (Forked) builds. As you can see we have a lot to go over, so stay tuned. I will put the link here when complete.

Thanks for the great article. One practical thing missing, though, is mention of ease of transfer from itunes to whichever new program is chosen. I use itunes solely to listen to music on my Windows laptop, and ocassionally to download/upload music to my phone. I have a huge library and many different playlists.
